Pakeman School LB Islington is strongly committed to PE. It is evident in the wide range of activities in and out of school that they offer, including being involved in competitive sports. They have a number of specialist staff who support them in delivering high quality provision. They recognise the importance of PE to the health and well-being of their children and the impact the PE curriculum and extracurricular activities can have on the attitudes, confidence and academic achievement of all children. G&D Higgins Mechanical Services strongly supports this and during 2015 gave this school a donation to provide membership of the Sobell Leisure Centre to create opportunities for gifted and talented children in sports to extend their skills at a higher level.
